This dwelling is a prime example of 20th century development in the Furze Platt Conservation area in Maidenhead. The original house comprises of red brick with painted rendering, red clay tiles and bay windows.
The garage conversion and 1st storey rear extension have been sympathetically designed to retain early 20th century characteristics of the property. The original red brickwork decorative detail on the gable end has been replicated in the new extension to keep a uniform design on the rear of the property.
The modern rear single storey extension has radically changed the home and turned a small kitchen into a large open plan area. It complements the existing layout, seamlessly providing extra space with a level patio area.
