This dwelling is a prime example of 20^th century development in the Furze Platt Conservation area in Maidenhead. The original house comprises of red brick with painted rendering, red clay tiles and  bay windows.

The garage conversion and 1^st storey rear extension have been sympathetically designed to retain early 20^th century characteristics of the property. The original red brickwork decorative detail on the gable end has been replicated in the new extension to keep a uniform design on the rear of the property.

The modern rear single storey extension has radically changed the home and turned a small kitchen into a large open plan area. It complements the existing layout, seamlessly providing extra space with a level patio area.
